Women’s Day 2025
Corporate Support
Queenscourt’s International Women’s Day celebration
was held at The Grand on Lord Street on Friday 7th March
2025. Guests were inspired by keynote speakers who
champion equality, whilst enjoying a delicious
two-course meal. As the afternoon progressed, lively
music and dancing brought the spirit of joy and unity to
the dance昀氀oor.
Thank you to our valued sponsors FPC Financial Planning and
Leasecar.uk, without whom the event wouldn’t be possible.

Summer Ball 2025
What a night! This unforgettable annual event took place
on Saturday 6th September at The Grand, in the heart of
Southport and it was de昀椀nitely one to remember.
Over £17,000 was raised on the night for our hospice and
we couldn’t be more grateful to each and every person who
supported this popular event and to our Fundraising Team for
organising and putting on such an incredible evening.
The sold-out event started with a Pimms reception, kindly
sponsored by LWC. Following dinner, host Alex Toal led the
ra昀툀e and auction, where some fantastic items went under the
hammer. The Proprietors and Bazz Todd Events entertained
the dance昀氀oor all night, with guests dancing away into the
early hours!
A heartfelt thank you to all who donated ra昀툀e and auction
prizes, and the fabulous volunteers who help make the
event possible.

Six Runners, One Epic Challenge!
The atmosphere in London was electric as six amazing
runners took on the world-famous London Marathon
in support of Queenscourt. Together, they raised an
incredible £16,500! A fantastic achievement that will
make a real di昀昀erence.
A huge round of applause goes to Adam Cheang, Jane Hough,
Ian Skellern, Jemma Hornby, Julie Tandy and Rob Kirby, who
each conquered the gruelling 26.2 miles with determination
and plenty of smiles along the way.
Queenscourt Invitational
The sun really shone for this year’s invitational. A highlight
on the corporate calendar, providing businesses with the
opportunity to get out of the o昀케ce and support a great
cause ‘on the green’ at Hurlston Hall Golf Club.
Attendees enjoyed a talk from Former Irish National Golf
Coach, Howard Bennett, who shared his tips for perfecting
your swing.
A huge thank you to event sponsors Leasecar.uk, and Group
1 Toyota for sponsoring the event. Thanks also to Jed Stone
for hosting the evening and to all of the local companies who
sponsored holes, donated prizes and entered teams, reinforcing
the power of business collaboration for a worthy cause.
